Free talking is my personal favorite that I enjoy starting with to make the initial atmosphere calm and relaxed. Afterwards I would either go over grammar and literacy points depending on the students level or if they’re a new student of mine. Another method I like is incorporating different endings to various sentences with flash cards so that the students can expand their vocabulary.
