You speak 4 languages, right? Are you learning Japanese at the moment and how does it compare to the European languages you can speak?
I speak English, German, Italian and of course French. Yes, I’m learning Japanese at this moment. Every languages are difficult to learn when you begin but Japanese has the advantage of having no conjugation and very few grammatical difficulties. But the alphabet and syntax are very complicated. You have to be patient when you start Japanese.

LOUISE - Hi, thank you for putting my profile forward ☺ ! My day has been good, I walked around Osaka and I’m learning to get to know my hosts. I learned some Japanese to communicate as well as possible with my future students.

LOUISEー こんにちは、私のプロフィールを紹介してくれてありがとうございます！今日は良い一日で、大阪周辺を歩いて、ホストの家にどうやって行くかを覚えています。将来の生徒と出来るだけ良いコミュニケーションがとれるように、いくつかの日本語を習いました。
What made you decide to come to Osaka, Japan?
A moment of madness. I wanted to live a new experience. As we say in french “travels shape youth”. I knew nothing about Japan and wanted to develop my linguistic and professorial competences.
Un coup de folie ! Je souhaitais vivre une nouvelle expérience ! Et comme on dit en français “ les voyages forment la jeunesse!”. Je ne connaissais quasiment rien de Japon et avais envie de développer mes compétences linguistiques et professorales.
Un colpo di follia ! Volevo vivere una nuova esperienza, come si dice in francese “ i viaggi formano la giovinezza”. Non conoscevo niente sul Giappone e volevo sviluppare le mie conoscenze linguistiche e didattiche.
どうして大阪に来ようと思ったのですか？
新しい経験をしたかったのです。フランス語で “les voyages forment la jeunesse!” (若い頃の旅はその人の人格を形成する) と言います。日本のことは何も知りませんでしたが、言語力と教える能力を向上させたかったのです。

What are your plans for your time in Japan?
I’m performing a Working Holiday, so I’ll stay all of the year. I would like to discover all of the country, discover the culture, meet people and learn of course a new language. I hope that this experience will be enriching both personally and professionally.
J’effectue cette année un PVT (Programme Vacances Travail). Je voudrais découvrir le Japon dans son intégralité, découvrir la culture, rencontrer de nouvelles personnes et bien entendu, apprendre une nouvelle langue. J’espère que cette expérience sera enrichissante aussi bien personnellement que professionnellement.
Sto facendo un Working Holiday quest’anno. Vorrei scoprire il paese, la cultura, incontrare delle nuove persone e ovviamente imparare una nuova lingua. Spero che questa esperienza sia arrichente personalmente ma anche sul piano professionale.
日本ではどのような予定ですか？
私はワーキングホリデーで来ているので、1 年だけ滞在できます。全ての国や文化を発見して、人と出会い、もちろん新しい言葉も勉強したいです。この経験が自分自身のためにも、仕事の面でも役に立つことを願っています。
What do you enjoy most about living in Japan at the moment?
FOOD ! The best of the world ! And the kindness of the people.

Is there anything about living in Osaka that you find difficult?
For the moment, I haven’t found something difficult in Osaka. Perhaps administrative difficulties common to all people moving to a country abroad!
Pour l’instant, je n’ai pas rencontré de difficultés liées directement à la ville d’Osaka. Plus des difficultés d’ordre administratif communes à toutes les personnes s’installant dans un pays à l’étranger !
