Hello, my name is Blair. I have lived and worked in Japan for over eleven years. During this time, I have taught English to children and adults through English conversation schools and international preschools. I have taught children as young as one year old and adults well into their seventies, as well as every age group in between. Four years ago, I earned a Trinity CertTESOL from Shane Teacher Training, which greatly enhanced my teaching knowledge and experience. I am currently attending full-time Japanese language school, but I would eventually like to return to the classroom. I see English teaching as a career and a passion. Seeing students build their confidence and abilities is rewarding in itself. こんにちは、ブレアと申します。私は11年以上にわたり、日本で生活し、働いてきました。英会話スクールやインターナショナルプリスクールを通じて、子供から大人まで幅広い年齢層に英語を教えた経験があります。教え子たちは1歳児から70代の方まで多岐にわたります。4年前には、シェーン・ティーチャー・トレーニングで「トリニティ・CertTESOL」の資格を取得し、指導に関する知識と経験をさらに深めました。現在は日本語学校にフルタイムで通っていますが、将来的には再び教職に就きたいと考えています。私にとって英語教育は単なる仕事ではなく、情熱を注ぐ生涯のキャリアです。生徒たちが自信をつけ、能力を伸ばしていく姿を見ることに、最大のやりがいを感じています。

Throughout my career as an English teacher, I have primarily used the PPP (Present, Prepare, Practice) and TTT (Teach, Test, Teach) methods, occasionally incorporating task-based activities. Recently, I have been exploring more communicative approaches, as well as the ESA (Engage, Study, Activate) method. I want to make English come alive with interesting, interactive, and engaging lessons. 英語教師としてのキャリアを通じて、私は主にPPP（Present, Prepare, Practice）やTTT（Teach, Test, Teach）の手法を用いてきましたが、時折タスクベースの活動も取り入れてきました。最近では、よりコミュニケーション重視のアプローチや、ESA（Engage, Study, Activate）の手法についても模索しています。興味深く、双方向的で、生徒の関心を引く授業を通じて、英語を生き生きとしたものにしていきたいと考えています。
