Hello! I'm Sonya Bieth. I have been teaching English to Japanese students since 2002. I taught in Japan as an ALT in Moriyama in Shiga Prefecture. My students since then have ranged from ages 3-85. I help with English grammar, daily conversation, business English and Eiken test preparation. I always ask my students what their goals are. We discuss preferred methods of learning. We decide what strategies would work best to achieve their goals. Mostly, my students prefer daily conversation practice followed up with advice about pronunciation and sentence structure/variations.
