Hello! My name is David. I am an American professional writer and musician with over 20 years of experience in education and performance. Having lived in Japan as a Permanent Resident, I understand the specific challenges Japanese learners face. I don’t just teach grammar; I teach communication. Whether you want to discuss business, dive into the world of literature and sci-fi, or simply improve your daily conversational flow, I provide a supportive and high-energy environment. My method focuses on 'Natural Fluency'—moving away from textbook stiffness toward how real Americans actually speak. Having taught high-level performance clinics globally, I know how to coach students to overcome 'performance anxiety' when speaking English, as well as music and other creative pursuits.
