「私は英語が話せません」と日本人の多くは言います。 でも本当にそうでしょうか？ 「This is a pen.」これは言えますよね。 では、これをスペイン語で言えますか？言えないはずです。 私たちは日常的に英語の単語を使っています。 フルーツ、カラー、ミルク、テーブル… つまり、皆さんはすでに“英語を知っている”のです。 あとは、それをルールに沿って並べるだけ。 そして何より大切なのは、 「間違えてもいい」という気持ちです。 英語は世界共通語ですが、 世界のほとんどの人はネイティブスピーカーではありません。 完璧な発音やミスを気にしすぎる必要はありません。 大切なのは、挑戦することです。 それでも、多くの人が止まってしまうのはなぜでしょうか？ 「どう勉強すればいいかわからない」 「頑張っているのに伸びない」 「間違えるのが怖い」 私はその“つまずき”を専門に研究してきました。 大学院でESL（第二言語としての英語教育）を専攻し、 英語学習者教育の修士号と教育リーダーシップの博士号を取得。 英語学習者向け教材や教育書籍の執筆にも携わっています。 日本では5年以上、幼稚園児から社会人まで指導。 ECC や GABA での指導経験、 さらに 名古屋大学、椙山女学園大学 での大学講義も担当しました。 レッスンではプレッシャーを与えません。 難しい理論を押しつけません。 あなたのレベルと目標に合わせ、 “実際に使える英語”を一緒に作っていきます。 Zoomレッスン、録画提供、毎回のフィードバック。 復習しながら、確実に前に進めます。 ある日ふと、 「あれ、英語で普通に話してる」と気づく瞬間があります。 英語は特別な才能ではありません。 正しい方法と、安心できる環境があれば、 誰でも伸びます。 あなたの可能性を、英語で広げていきましょう。ぜひ私と一緒に挑戦してみませんか。 Many people in Japan say, “I can’t speak English.” But is that really true? You can say, “This is a pen,” right? But can you say it in Spanish? Probably not. We actually use English words in our daily lives— fruit, color, milk, table… That means you already know English. All you need to do is put the words together following simple rules. And most importantly, you need to give yourself permission to make mistakes. English is a global language, but most people in the world are not native speakers. You don’t need perfect pronunciation. You don’t need to be flawless. What truly matters is having the courage to try. So why do so many people still feel stuck? “I don’t know how to study.” “I work hard, but I’m not improving.” “I’m afraid of making mistakes.” I have dedicated my academic career to researching these very struggles. I specialized in ESL (English as a Second Language) in graduate school, earning a Master’s degree in Teaching English Language Learners and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership. I have also written instructional materials and educational books for English learners. In Japan, I have over five years of teaching experience, working with students from kindergarten children to working professionals. I have taught at ECC and GABA, and more recently, I have lectured at Nagoya University and Sugiyama Jogakuen University. In my lessons, I do not create pressure. I do not overwhelm students with complicated theory. Instead, I tailor each lesson to your level and goals, helping you build English you can actually use in real life. Lessons are conducted via Zoom. Recordings are available upon request, and I provide feedback after every session so you can review and continue progressing with confidence. One day, you may suddenly realize: “I’m actually speaking English naturally.” English is not a special talent. With the right method and a supportive environment, anyone can improve.
