As an educator, I believe that teaching should be tailored to the individual needs, goals, and prior knowledge of each student. My first step is always to understand what the student wants to learn and how much they already know. This helps me design a learning path that is relevant, effective, and student-centered. If a student chooses to start from the basics or prefers to leave the learning structure entirely up to me, I make sure to begin with a smooth and gradual approach, so that the student doesn’t feel overwhelmed and can build confidence comfortably. Additionally, if the student has a specific goal, such as preparing for the EIKEN exam, I use a targeted curriculum to meet that goal. This way, my teaching remains flexible, personalized, and effective according to the student's needs and comfort level.
