As an English teacher with over 10 years of experience, I’ve worked with learners from various countries. I often focus on building rapport with my students to help them develop self-confidence and express themselves more freely. This is especially true for Japanese students, who may be shy or introverted. By fostering a friendly relationship, I find that it becomes easier for them to share their ideas and feelings and improve their skills.
