As I have 6years of experience in teaching kids I tend to get along well with them. I usually prefer to make the student comfortable with my presence so first few days I don’t go too deep in the process rather I try to pick up their thoughts by interacting what things they like, what they recommend me to do, whats their favourite food and how they can introduce themselves. Later on I prefer to keep a notepad where I give them 3 questions everyday with an answer that they have to memorise that will help them to interact better in English, such as- how was your day? Can you tell me why do we use these transports for? What does an air conditioner do? etc. If the parents want me to stick to the textbook I do that solely sometimes.
