I like to think of my lessons as mini conversations. I'll start the conversation by probing students for answers to engaging questions or by taking suggestions for what the student wants to talk about. Once the conversation has begun I'll listen, ask open ended questions, and allow the student to express their thoughts. I'll make corrections to their English in a natural manner that doesn't disrupt the flow of the class. However, I'll make certain to correct mistakes that could change the tone or misconstrue the point being expressed. Overall, I would say that my classes are informative and relaxed.
