Hi everyone! My name is Mariia, I am an English teacher from Australia with 3 years of teaching experience. I love creating an engaging environment for my students and always try my best to ensure students get the maximum possible benefit from every lesson. I achieve this by analysing my students' learning goals and creating a tailored strategy to achieve those goals. My lessons are mainly focused on speaking, language is all communication, after all! However, if you are more interested in improving your grammar, listening, or reading, I am happy to help with that, too! I always strive to create a welcoming and safe learning environment, so that my students can walk away from each lesson with valuable knowledge and a little more confidence!

Hello everyone, my name is Mariia, I am an English teacher with 3 years of experience. My teaching approach is communicative, with an individual approach to each student. I aspire to help my students achieve their language learning goals, first and foremost. I enjoy teaching using textbooks, films, songs, and articles, as well as through free conversation with students. Most of my students are adults aiming to brush up on their spoken English, so we focus a lot on speaking. Usually, I will determine my students' level and discuss their needs during our first lesson, then we will determine a learning strategy, set specific goals, and focus on achieving them. I always strive to make sure my students feel comfortable, confident, and adequately challenged during lessons, in order to achieve steady improvements.
