Hi! My name is Tim. I'm from Toronto, Canada. I currently live in Kichijoji with my wife and daughter. I have been teaching English to people of all ages for the past eighteen years. I enjoy working with children, students, adults, and retirees. I am a friendly and informal person by nature. I enjoy working with students of all ages, regardless of their English level. I always tailor the lessons to a student's particular needs. In addition to teaching beginner and intermediate English at several academies, I have assisted many students from primary to post-secondary school with English communication skills, reading comprehension, vocabulary development, academic writing, standardized test preparation (TOEFL, IELTS, SATs, etc.), as well as academic coursework. I have also assisted advanced English learners with essay editing, university admissions, advanced reading comprehension, course grading, and professional editing.
