Hello everyone! My name is Maria Cristina and I work as a freelance online English teacher teaching Japanese students at a language school here in my country. I also teach my private students from China, Spain, and Geneva, Switzerland. Prior to becoming a freelance English teacher, my background included teaching young learners, adult learners, and business professionals. When I am not teaching, I enjoy singing, watching Korean dramas, and making some YouTube videos. I dream of becoming a successful vlogger someday. My teaching methods usually focus on what the students need. In general, I teach my students new words, phrases, and idioms. I also focus on communicative language teaching and task-based language teaching. These two are the best popular approach among the methods of teaching ESL for me. I want to emphasize the student's ability to talk about real-life situations and also to allow students to make requests, explain things, and express their feelings and thoughts clearly.
