Hi. I am a professional English instructor and curriculum developer with 20+ years of experience. As a professional teacher, I provide proper lesson structure, clear explanations, and appropriate feedback to maximize your learning. I have extensive experience teaching English for general conversation, business, and the medical field. I also offer a variety of specific of courses for junior high school and high school students. Style: Lessons are based on themes. They are structured, with an introduction, target language/topic, and practice. Pacing depends on the student's ability. Free conversation is available upon request. Special requests: Students can make special requests to focus on special themes. (Examples: help writing emails for work, practice for upcoming business meetings, essays for school, medical journals, etc.) Lesson Records: During the lesson, I fill out a lesson record. This is a file that records student progress, notes weak points, and records new vocabulary, phrases, and pronunciation. This is emailed to the student after the lesson so they can review at home. Language: By default, English is used; however, I can use Japanese when necessary.
