I have taught students languages for over 11 years and I love it! I have taught English and French in eikaiwa and in public schools in Japan and in Toronto, Canada. 私は11年以上学生に言語を教えてきました、そして私はそれが大好きです！私は英会話教室と日本の公立学校、そしてカナダのトロントで英語とフランス語を教えてきました。 My goal is to make lessons relaxed, enjoyable, and useful. It's very important that you feel comfortable during a lesson. I want to create a positive environment so it is enjoyable and rewarding to learn languages! For younger students, I focus on new vocabulary, basic grammar, and useful phrases while playing games, singing songs, and having basic conversations. For more advanced students, I design lessons around situations where you would use a foreign language in real life. If desired, I can also provide newspaper and magazine articles so we can read and discuss current issues and popular culture. I can focus on conversation skills or on test preparation - whatever you prefer!
