Practise, Practise, Practise. Just like a concert pianist, or any other musician for that matter, practise is just as important for a writer as it is for a musician. You will probably notice how I've used the word "practise" instead of "practice". This is because I'm writing in English (where "practise" is used as a verb and "practice" as a noun), rather than American English. It is vitally important to use the best word for the job, just like a mechanic would use the right size spanner ('wrench' in American English) when working on a machine. Whatever language you use, your writing skills will improve tremendously as a result of practise – more so if you have someone skilled in writing in their native language to guide you. Which is, of course, why I'm online to help you. To give you practise, I will be designing some exercises to help you. These will be designed to help you in your work where communication skills are so important. These will include exercises on using appropriate words for a given context. I'm looking forward to helping you.

Practise, Practise, Practise. This is the only way of improving your linguistic skills and is particularly important in business and technical writing. I will be asking you to work on lots of exercises and will then be marking those and making suggestions as to how you can improve your writing - choice of words and helping to increase your vocabulary in the subject area you are requiring to learn.
