Kon'nichiwa. Watashi wa Leslie Ann Loyola desu. Hello! My name is Leslie Ann Loyola. I am from the Philippines. I'm a writer by profession but teaching is my passion. I have 5 years of experience teaching English as a second language to students from Japan, Korea, and China through online and classroom setting. If you love to practice your English conversation skills, I'm the perfect teacher for you. We can read articles and watch blogs that we can discuss afterwards. These activities will greatly help you improve your conversation skills by pronouncing words correctly, improving your vocabulary, learning new expressions, and applying grammar rules. My goal is to help you become more confident in speaking English anytime, anywhere. I'm excited to meet you!

I love helping my students improve their English conversation skills, and I believe that the best way to do this is to engage them in meaningful and insightful discussions. Basic grammar can be learned by reading books and other Internet resources, but the challenge for most is the application of these language rules, especially for students who do not have a lot of chance to practice speaking in English. This is why I often conduct my lessons by discussing a particular topic in which they can have ample time to practice speaking in English. I also provide interesting articles, which can be the basis of our conversation. This is also a chance for me to help them improve their vocabulary, pronunciation, and comprehension.
