Lately, I am doing more classes using ZOOM or FACETIME. My teaching style is very flexible. I do my best to get to know students to see their abilities. Teaching methods vary depending on the student or group. I like to know students' interests to find interesting topics for discussion. Mostly, I like to give students time and space to find their own abilities and to find a certain level of comfort with communicating. It's good if students talk more than I do. When using additional material, it is best to find items best suited for the students' needs: newspaper articles, business reports, TOEFL material, or travel expressions. (I also teach yoga English/Japanese mixed.) Every student has potential to learn, progress & evolve.
