Hello! My name is Bethany and I may be your next English teacher. I have lived in Japan for almost two years. As a student myself, I understand how difficult entrance exams, or trying to learn a foreign language with a busy lifestyle, can be. I personally have many interests, but I hope you will feel comfortable enough to talk to me about anything in English.

I have taught English professionally for over a year, but have been a tutor/language partner for a decade. My students range from 9 months ~ 80 years-old. I try to incorporate the student’s interests into every lesson because I think it makes for more effective learning. I also like to use a variety of learning tools including videos, association games, news articles, etc. I can help with everything from conversation to the Eiken.
